Dual-Career & Partner Matching

Find meaningful work in Carinthia

CIC helps partners of internationals connect with local employers, build local networks and start careers that fit life in Carinthia. We don’t recruit — we match. Using employer relationships, coaching and practical support, we place people into permanent, part-time, internship and project roles.

What we offer

  • Personalised job matching with local employers across healthcare, IT, hospitality, education and services.
  • CV & interview coaching (English & German) and help tailoring applications to Austrian standards.
  • Qualification guidance and help with recognition/translation of certificates.
  • Practical settling support — local networking, language classes, childcare & school information.
  • Onboarding follow-up to make sure the match is working for you.

How It Works

1. Dual Career Program: we invite partners of internationals to participate in our program.

2. Local matchmaking: we organize local matchmaking events together with employers.

3. Start & follow-up: we provide onboarding support, local networking and check-ins to ensure a lasting fit.

Typical timeline: partners usually find a suitable job within 12 to 15 months highly depending on their German language proficiency and their desired field of work.

What You Should Know

  • We match — we don’t recruit. Companies hire. We connect you with real opportunities and coach you to succeed.
  • Be proactive: update your CV, attend workshops and join our networking events.
  • Language helps — some roles are English-friendly, many require German. We help plan next steps.
